Polish Library Development Program among finalists of e-Inclusion Awards 2012

15 Jun, 2012

The Library Development Program, implemented by the Information Society Development Foundation (one of Telecentre-Europe’s Polish member organizations), is one of the 3 finalists for Category B (larger organizations) of the “Be Part of IT – Digital Inclusion Champions Award”, one of the Awards that can be won at the European Commission’s e-Inclusion Awards Competition 2012.

Together with the other twelve finalists of all categories, representatives of the Library Development Program are invited to the second Digital Agenda Assembly (#DA12) in Brussels, Belgium where the overall winners will be announced during the Awards Ceremony that takes place on 22 June 2012.

Their video entry presents the impact of libraries on the daily life of citizens and shows how libraries participating in the program contribute to the development of whole local communities.
