26 Oct Offer and find opportunities for young people on Drop’pin
Telecentre Europe joins Drop’pin and calls on our members to do the same!
Drop’pin is a new project and online platform led by the European Commission that aims to help young people by connecting them with concrete opportunities to boost their employability and skills across Europe. Drop’pin wants to be THE place where young people can find apprenticeships, traineeships, e-learning, mentorships, e-skills training, etc. Visit the site here and register today!
By registering on Drop’pin, young people can apply for opportunities, follow organisations, upload their CV and chat with other Drop’pin users and share experiences in the forum. Organisations also need to register and be approved before they can use the platform to publish opportunities.
For organisations such as our members’, this platform enables the direct promotion of youth-oriented opportunities to a ready and willing pool of young people. By joining the platform your organisation can publish courses and initiatives and reach young people in your town but also form all over Europe. In addition, you can promote this platform directly to young people coming to telecenters, during the year or in a specific moment, like during the Get Online Week.
Organisations, such as NGOs or corporations can publish offers for apprenticeships, traineeships, training programmes, e-learning courses, language training, mentoring and coaching schemes, as well as various social services in their own country. The opportunities published must predominantly be of a non-commercial nature and must respect guidelines and rules for the use of the site in place at any given time. The site may not, under any circumstances, be used to advertise or sell services or products
