I-LINC: how to empower youth for employability and entrepreneurship

29 Jun, 2015

The I-LINC platform will be the meeting point for stakeholders to constructively discuss and design socio-educational e-solutions and policy options to modernise education through ICT, provide inclusive alternatives to formal education developed by the non-formal education sector and Third sector, and create a new “digital” path for employment for young people.

The 2nd meeting of the I-LINC project consortium was organized in Madrid, on 8-9th of June, bringing together partners from Telefonica, Technical University of Dortmund, European SchoolNet and Telecentre Europe. It was a great opportunity to review the progress of the project activities started on 1st of January 2015, and to plan next steps.

The Madrid meeting focused on three main topics that are crucial at this stage of the project:

  1. online portal development
  2. stakeholders’ engagement
  3. dissemination/promotion.

Both online and offline activities will kick off this summer, after a preparation phase that included an analysis of stakeholders and a stakeholders survey with over 100 responses. While the online portal will go live end of July 2015, the first two I-LINC workshops are already planned for September (Belgrade) and November (Barcelona).
