Telecentre.org launches the “Train the Most Women” contest for telecentres

10 Apr, 2012

Telecentre.org Foundation (TCF) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) are organizing a contest open for individual telecentres to train the most women between April 7, 2011 and September 1, 2012. The contest is in support of the Telecentre Women: Digital Literacy Campaign

The training can be directed to women of any age (including teenagers) but must be centered on providing  digital literacy skills. Training of trainers for digital literacy programs are not included within the scope of the contest.

The ITU will award the winning telecentre with an ICT equipment (hardware or software: laptops, PCs, printers, computer monitors, assistive technology for persons with disabilities, telecentre-related software, etc.) worth 15.000 Swiss Francs.
