The Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition is growing, and these developments should be positive for all stakeholders in the digital skills community.
In March, during Get Online Week, there were successful launches by the Latvian Coalition E-prasmju partrnerība (E-skills partnership) in Riga and the Lithuanian National Digital Coalition. The Romanian National Coalition SKILLS 4IT was also launched.
During the next few weeks expect to see the launch and relaunch of more coalitions:
- the launch of the Irish Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition on April 27th during the Irish Tech Week;
- the launch of Digital Skills Coalition Lėtzebuerg (Luxembourg) on May 29th:
- the relaunch of the Polish Coalition the Broad Alliance for Digital Skills on June 21st and also
- the launch of the Estonian National Coalition for Digital Jobs led by Telecentre-Europe’s newest member ‘Look@World foundation’. The Estonian Coalition recently held a First Lego League Junior event in Tallinn attended by over 1,000 youngsters in Tallinn.
