Telecentre-Europe’s Polish member organization the Information Society Development Foundation (FRSI) wins the “Be Part of IT – Digital Inclusion Champions Award”, one of the Awards that could be won at the European Commission’s e-Inclusion Awards Competition 2012.
Congratulations to our Polish friends for winning this important Award!
FRSI ended up ex aequo alongside Barcelona Activa from Spain, the local development agency for the Barcelona area and actively promotes ICT skills, training and environments for digital inclusion, employability and competitiveness.
Together with other twelve finalists of all categories, FRSI representatives were invited at the second Digital Agenda Assembly (#DA12) in Brussels, Belgium where the overall winners were announced during the Awards Ceremony that took place on 22 June 2012.
The video entry of FRSI’s Library Development Program presents the impact of libraries on the daily life of citizens and shows how libraries participating in the program contribute to the development of whole local communities.
