The number of young people, in particular girls and women, studying and choosing careers in ICT is decreasing and not keeping up with growing demand for highly skilled ICT professionals. This Telecentre Europe’s paper prepared by Interface3 discusses gender equality and reflects on some of the main findings about the topic. General approach recommendations as well as recommendations in the framework of European projects are proposed.
