Year: 2013-

Type: database

LINK TO THE DATABASE

Unite IT was a European project and is a community site for professionals interested in digital skills and e-inclusion in Europe. It is also the focal point of resources with a goal of collecting European good practices and policies with a specific focus on ICT for inclusion and social cohesion.

A good practice is an innovative approach which has been tested. It improves what is considered a model or standard in digital inclusion. The collection of good practices has been developing for quite some time now. These practices become models or standards in more or less similar situations.

The database will enable to:

  • Spread and transpose “isolated” good experiences in different contexts
  • Prove that it is possible to implement good practices and interesting projects with limited means
  • Motivate people to take initiatives and create new alternatives to ancient practices
  • Promote the exchange of experiences between professionals in order to improve the quality of services they offer

Any organisation or an individual is invited to contribute to overcome digital divide and promote digital competencies by groups-at-risk of exclusion.
