Sustainable telecentres through exchange experiences

03 Oct, 2012

More than 50 telecentre coordinators from Romania, Serbia, Latvia and Moldova participated in a range of 4 workshops that were implemented in the countries of the partners involved in the project. They had the opportunity to exchange experiences and to learn more about how telecentres can be sustainable in time.

The exchange visits were part of the project Shared Learning and Community Digital Inclusion through telecentre services, a partnership between EOS Foundation Romania, the Latvian Information and Communications Technology Association (LIKTA), the Serbian International Aid Network (IAN) and the Moldovan Alliance of Access to Information and Training Community (AITCC). Participants discovered about the activities & services that other telecentre networks from other countries are providing. As the background of the countries involved was very distinct, the ideas & experiences of the participants differed from one workshop to another.
