Nicola Bruno is a professional journalist and an expert on disinformation and media literacy. He is one of the founders of Dataninja where he manages Open the Box, a project for the dissemination of media and data literacy skills in schools. He is an Adjunct Professor of Visual Storytelling at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Since 2010 he has been a partner of the news agency Effecinque, where has conducted several investigations for SkyTg24 on disinformation campaigns. In 2010-11 he was a Journalist Fellow at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford.
