Marta Pisano holds a PhD in Psychology, a Degree in Nursing, a Master in Health Sciences and a Master in Community Intervention. She is the Chief of the Service of Person-Centred Care and Autonomy at the Regional Ministry of Health of Asturias. She is the Coordinator of the School of Patients and the programme Active Patient. She is the scientific coordinator of the three European projects EFFICHRONIC, CARE4DIABETES and IDEAHL, related to the empowerment of vulnerable population and self-management of chronic diseases. Particularly, the project IDEAHL is aimed at the development of the EU (digital) Health Literacy Strategy.
