Detective Sergeant Joanne Jackson (PSNI)
Joanne joined the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) in 2003 and has worked in pro-active surveillance operations and within the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). She was promoted to Detective Sergeant into the Child Sexual Exploitation, (CSE) Team in 2020.
Joanne was a central driver of the successful ‘Op Makesafe’ CSE campaign which increased awareness and provide training around child exploitation to the Hospitality sector. Joanne is currently investigating online CSE.
Joanne has dedicated her career to protecting the public and bringing offenders to justice. She is passionate about her current role in tackling Child Sexual Exploitation and protecting children from harm.
