Gerardo is the Microsoft Philanthropies Lead for Europe, supporting Skills for Jobs initiatives in partnership with nonprofits and providing strategic guidance to local leads across the region. His mission is to build digital equity and empower underserved communities to succeed in the digital and AI economy. In his role, Gerardo also drives employee engagement and disaster response initiatives across the region and drives strategic partnerships with customers and the partner ecosystem to leverage their support to maximize societal impact. Gerardo has a dual background in public policy, government affairs and diplomacy on the one hand, and impact management and strategy consulting in the social sector on the other.
