Women 5.0 Closes with one final conversation
To mark the close of the Women 5.0 project, four women who have been part of its journey came together for one last conversation: what does success look like when you are the one defining it?
Redefining Success brought together Lucia Kleštincová, Aytaj Ahmadova, Anne Marie Swift and Cláudia Vieira to talk about ambition, fulfilment, fear, change, and building a life that reflects your own values. A few reflections stayed with us:
- Cláudia Vieira asked what we lose by simply trying. Success doesn’t always mean going bigger. It can mean choosing the path that feels right whether that’s building a business or finding fulfilment in a regular job.
- Anne Marie Swift pointed out that success and certainty rarely arrive together. Growth often starts before we feel ready, and success is about contributing fully without sacrificing health, values or identity.
- Aytaj Ahmadova described choosing the option that feels lighter, to the gut or the heart. After years of measuring success through constant achievement, she now treats it as a daily practice, one built on trust rather than fear.
- Lucia Kleštincová asked whose definition of success we’re chasing. So much of it is shaped by family, culture and social media, and it’s worth questioning whether the goals we pursue are genuinely our own.
Four women, four different paths, one conversation that captured much of what Women 5.0 has stood for.
Women 5.0: Women Entrepreneurs in a Digital Future is an Erasmus+ project working to close the digital gender gap by giving women entrepreneurs the skills and confidence to thrive in the digital economy. Over its course, the project built a learning path for women’s digital skills, a digital toolkit for entrepreneurship trainers, and an awareness campaign bringing together female entrepreneurs and trainers across the partner countries around five themes, from breaking digital stereotypes to wellbeing and leadership.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Women 5.0 journey. The project may be closing, but the conversations and change it has inspired are far from over.
