DigiCitizenEdu aims to advance Digital Citizenship Education (DCE) by equipping educators and learners across Europe with the skills and knowledge needed to participate actively and responsibly in today’s digital society. Building on the partners’ strong commitment to lifelong learning, the project uses the All Digital Academy (ADA) as its main platform for high-quality, accessible educational resources. DigiCitizenEdu promotes social cohesion, democratic participation, and digital inclusion by bringing together critical thinking, digital rights, media literacy, and AI-enhanced training methods in adult education. The project responds to the challenges of digital transformation by empowering people, regardless of their background, age, or prior knowledge, to exercise their rights and responsibilities online with confidence.

Our Target Groups
DigiCitizenEdu directly targets adult educators, lifelong learners, citizens, policymakers, and civil society organisations. Through a multi-stakeholder approach, the project connects education, policy, and civic participation, contributing to a more inclusive and digitally competent Europe.

Where We Are Now
We are currently developing the first version of our Training Course on Digital Citizenship, which will be available on the All Digital Academy platform by the end of 2026. The course is designed for all citizens and will comprise four modules. No prior knowledge is required. We are also preparing additional “Further Reading” materials for educators and anyone who wants to deepen their understanding. Feedback from this first version will be essential in creating the final version of the training.
We are finalising the Digital Citizenship Compendium, which will be published in December 2026.
