Luka Juroš, Head of Education, Sports and Youth Office of the City of Zagreb. After his master’s degree at the London School of Economics, Luka Juroš started working at the Ministry of Science and Education. There, for eight years, he led the field of higher education, including EU funds, financing reform and new scholarship and nutrition models. After a year of training in the USA on a Fulbright Humphrey scholarship, he left the Ministry in 2014 to start working at the European Commission in Brussels. There he led the drafting of the EU strategy for education until 2030 and the EU report on employment and social protection, and before returning to Croatia he coordinated the national recovery and resilience plans of Italy, Luxembourg and Lithuania in the field of education and employment.
