Leire received the Ph.D. degree in science computing from Deusto University, in 2008, the M.B.A. degree from ESEUNE, Bilbao, in 2012, and the master’s degree in gamification and transmedia narrative from IEBS in 2015. She is also PMP certified since 2011. She is currently the Head of the Advanced Interaction Platform in TECNALIA. She has extensive experience in research projects, having coordinated and collaborated at both international and national levels since 2002. She has published several original articles in international journals and conference proceedings. Her research interests include human factors, user experience, person-centric design, gamification, and the Internet of Things.
