Level Up: No Drama Online is a school project for 6th grade students focused on digital citizenship, online safety, and wellbeing. Working in teams, students will design and create their own board games that hide important educational topics such as cyberbullying, digital footprint, safe online behaviour, and risks related to the misuse of AI. Over six class periods, they will develop the game concept, rules, board, cards, and game pieces, while also using micro:bit as a digital game element that can replace a dice or trigger specific events in the game. Students may use LLM tools to help generate ideas, but all scenarios must be discussed, verified, and connected to real online experiences familiar to them, such as group chats, online gaming, social media, or video sharing. At the end of the project, the games will be tested and peer-reviewed by other students in the school, encouraging reflection, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking about safe and responsible behaviour online.
