Since 2016, Europeana has celebrated Women’s History Month by highlighting the stories of important women in history, creating and promoting editorial to improve the representation of women on its website.
Europeana highlights and publishes interviews featuring women in a variety of fields in the cultural heritage sector from the music industry to maritime and more on the Common European Data Space for Cultural Heritage. Look out for new features throughout March.
This year, Europeana collaborates with Café Anaïs on a collage workshop in Nîmes on the 8th of March. Europeana will also have a creative writing workshop on the theme of Women in Mythology.
