Introduction to IC3 – Internet and Core ICT Skills
The webinar offers ICT teachers a clear overview of the international IC3 (Internet and Computing Core Certification) standard and how it can support the development of students’ essential digital skills. Participants will explore the structure of the certification, the assessed domains—from responsible internet use to fundamental operational and digital productivity skills—and their relevance in relation to the graduate profile and current labour market requirements.
The workshop will place particular emphasis on integrating basic digital skills into everyday classroom activities, providing practical examples and suggestions for learning activities that can help prepare students to obtain an internationally recognized certification. The sessions are addressed to teachers who wish to strengthen students’ digital literacy and contribute to reducing the digital skills gap in Romania.
