On March 25, the Somos Digital Summit will bring together professionals from Digital Competence Centres across Spain for a new edition of this key national gathering organised by the Somos Digital Association. This event creates a shared space for network managers, trainers and digital facilitators to exchange experiences, reflect on current challenges and strengthen collaboration across the ecosystem of Digital Competence Centres. This edition will focus on digital wellbeing and media literacy as essential pillars for promoting a healthier, more critical and more conscious relationship with technology. Throughout the day, participants will explore how the digital environment impacts individual and collective wellbeing, and how Digital Competence Centres can act as key agents of guidance, prevention and critical digital education within their communities. The programme will combine keynote talks, expert panels, practical workshops and experience‑sharing sessions. Topics will include disinformation, attention and mindful technology use, the right to digital disconnection, inclusive digitalisation with a care‑centred approach, and people‑centred social innovation.Dynamisers, network coordinators and strategic professionals from Digital Competence Centres across Spain will take part in this event, which is designed to strengthen collaboration, generate new partnerships and reinforce the role of the centres as local references in digital wellbeing. Within the framework of the Summit, the Somos Digital Awards will also be presented, recognising individuals, projects and organisations that are driving digital transformation, strengthening citizens’ digital skills and contributing to a more prepared, participatory and inclusive society.
