Cybersecurity Workshop – Paralimni
Our daily lives are filled with new and strange terminology related to cybersecurity, as well as the ways in which someone can hack us. In this presentation, we will explore 16 different types of attacks, learn how to recognize them, and, most importantly, how to protect ourselves from them. The main categories include: Malware, Social Engineering, Grooming, Phishing, Social Media Threats, IoT Attacks, Ransomware, Rootkit, Pharming, Cryptojacking, Zero Day, DoS, and DDoS. You will have access to free educational material and, if you wish, you can take an online exam to receive relevant certifications for your knowledge.
The workshops are offer by the Cyprus Computer Society through the Pedagogical Insitute of the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth
