Largest ICT event and TE networking session in Lisbon on 22 October 2015

06 Oct, 2015

European Commission together with our Portuguese member Fundaçao para a Ciência e a Tecnologia Portugal (FCT) are organising the largest ICT conference in the EU ICT 2015 – Innovate, Connect, Transform on 20-22 October in Lisbon. Among many workshops and sessions, Telecentre Europe will run a networking session which is expected to attract a number of stakeholders and potential partners.

Over 100 networking sessions are planned on topics that are relevant to Horizon 2020 and/or the Juncker Commission’s new objectives. TE’s session is scheduled on 22 October from 9:50 to 10:35 and will focus on impact assessment of digital social innovations for jobs and growth. During the session there will be two invited speakers, Gianluca Misuraca (JRC-IPTS, European Commission) and Bastian Pelka (Univ. of Dortmund). G. Misuraca will present MIREIA methodology and the e-toolkit that can be used to measure the socio-economic outputs, outcomes and impacts of ICT-driven grassroots interventions across Europe. B. Pelka will bring the state of the art on digital social innovation research and action in Europe.

MIREIA handover to TE for further exploitation and scale-up will be formally announced at the event. Three project ideas around MIREIA will be debated with the audience in the form of a World Café, with the goal to identify potential partners and further develop a proposal to be funded under H2020.
