14 Jun Langas į ateitį (Lithuania) digitally includes 16.200 socially vulnerable adults

Thanks to a two years effort of Telecentre-Europe’s Lithuanian member Langas į ateitį (LIA – Window to the Future), 16.200 socially vulnerable adults are now able to integrate more quickly into community life & the labour market, and have more possibilities to study & communicate.
The recently finished project “Online services for a Lithuanian e-Citizen” was financed by the European Social Fund and concentrated on training courses for three main target groups: the unemployed, people with disabilities and the rural population.
A survey among participants showed that even average or lower-skilled jobs on today’s labour market require ICT skills, as workplaces are becoming increasingly dependent on modern technologies.
